Allersearch® Allergen Wash
How
Allersearch® Allergen Wash Can Help
Until now, allergists recommended washing items in hot water that
was 140º or higher. However, frequent hot water washings can damage and fade the textiles.
Allersearch® Allergen Wash
removes
the dust allergens consisting of dust mites,
household pet dander, mold, mildew, and pollen in any water temperature. Now you can wash even your most delicate fabrics, and be relieved of your allergy and asthma symptoms.
Indications
Allersearch® Allergen Wash
is a valuable adjunct in the management of patients who test positive to house dust mite or animal dander and have clinical symptoms of asthma, allergic rhinitis or eczema that correlate with exposure to those allergens.
By using the allergen wash in the laundry, in conjunction with other well-established environmental controls, you can reduce allergy symptoms caused by indoor allergens. Unless treated, these allergens may cause inflammation on the airways, trigger an asthma attack or produce allergic rhinitis symptoms.
The role of
Allersearch® Allergen Wash
is to reduce allergen exposure, as part of an overall patient management program. By reducing allergen exposure, affected patients will have fewer symptoms and require less
medication.
Safety
- Allersearch® Allergen Wash
is non-toxic and is free of perfumes, dyes, and other irritating additives
- Allersearch® Allergen Wash
meets the current requirements of State Health Departments and other government authorities
- Patients are advised not to reduce asthma medication (particularly steroids) without medical advice
